We are working together to create an inspirational neighbourhood - today, tomorrow, and forever.
As a social enterprise, we generate income, and the profit we make is reinvested into the community. Some use our nursery, our sports pitches or have attended conferences in our neighbourhood centre. Others live or work on our South Bank site. We have thousands of people who pass through our site every day and hundreds more who attend our sessions, workshops and activities.
Our story matters.
It’s a story about inclusiveness and diversity. About culture, community, and commercial success. About how we work together to create a community we can be proud of.
All of this is overseen by two independant organisations. Coin Street Community Builders employs the staff team who run most of our activities and Coin Street Centre Trust, a registered charity which oversees Coin Street’s Family and Children’s Centre and community programmes.

Imagine, is a powerful film directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jonah Wyn Pugh of Kullur TV, which beautifully captures the community spirit that Coin Street has nurtured for over 40 years.
Coin Street has long worked to create a thriving, inclusive community, providing spaces and services that positively impact people’s lives. Imagine is a testament to this legacy.
Featuring the voices of over 32 local people, each contributing a line to a bespoke poem, the film reflects the diverse stories and experiences that have shaped the South Bank neighbourhood. This collective narrative celebrates the unity, resilience, and deep connections that define Coin Street, creating a welcoming space for all.
