We are Coin Street, the driving force behind 13 acres of vibrant community on London’s South Bank.
We've worked to protect, build, and galvanise this neighbourhood in Waterloo and North Southwark, London. Starting from a rundown site in 1984, together we’ve built a thriving community of opportunity. It’s a place people can call their home, workplace, or playground - and above all, it’s a place where they can be totally themselves.
But we couldn't have done this by ourselves; we've developed deep partnerships with other organisations that share our vision. Together, we have achieved a lot, but there's more to do.

What could a partnership with Coin Street look like?
Volunteering
Volunteering is your opportunity to give something back to our inspirational neighbourhood and be part of something special. We are looking for volunteers who can work flexibly, so don’t worry if you can’t commit to volunteering every week. As a partner, we can offer volunteering positions to suit you, whether you want to commit weekly, monthly, or to a one-off event. Email us to find out more.
Employee fundraising days
As a partner, you could organise an employee fundraising event with us. Help raise funds to support our inspirational neighbourhood in any way you see fit. Find out more by emailing us.
Tutoring and mentoring
Can you help young people in our area? If you have employees who would like to volunteer to help local young people succeed, check out our tutoring and mentoring opportunities.
Run the Big Half for us
Over the past two years, 27 people have participated in the Big Half, raising £10,240 for Coin Street’s youth and community work. A fantastic achievement! For the next event, we are seeking runners to help raise £300 each for Coin Street's health and social programme for older adults. The Coin Street neighbourhood centre and Colombo Centre provide safe, warm, and welcoming spaces for over 234+ older adults each year, participating in our programme.
