Potters’ Yard Arts in Gabriel's Wharf celebrates London Craft Week with a special collection of pots, paintings, artist’s books and house portraits, from Liz Mathews’ Singing the Year collection.

Meet the artist throughout the week in the shop with free entry! Liz and her partner the writer Frances Bingham will be on hand to show:

* Beautiful pots from the collection, celebrating the starry nights and flowery days of spring and early summer.

* Artist’s books in the British Library’s permanent collection, including Thames to Dunkirk, Strand of the Thames and Paper Wings, as well as a sparkling set of six artist’s books for children, from Cloudsong-shilly-shally to River-jabber-water-song.

* highlights from Liz’s miniature portraits of special London houses, including Dickens’ house, Keats’ house, Freud’s house, and Virginia Woolf’s house covered in flowering wisteria for May.

* Fresh from the kiln, Liz’s collection of unique handmade jewellery 'Pots to Wear', with a new batch of beautiful earrings, rings, cufflinks and necklaces.

All this and a 10% discount on all framed paintings and artist’s books by Liz Mathews.

A Double Celebration:

This year, Potters' Yard Arts are singing the year by celebrating two lovely anniversaries: it’s their shop’s first and thirtieth birthdays at the same time! They had their first pop-up shop in Gabriel’s Wharf in the spring of 1995, and their lovely new shop has now been open in Gabriel's Wharf for a year.
