Prime Minister David Cameron visited the Coin Street family and children’s centre on 18 August and met our Group Director, Iain Tuckett, head of our family and children’s centre, Jenny Deeks, and head of early year’s education, Kathryn Yianadji.
The PM’s visit was in advance of a speech about government departments being held to account for the impact of their policies on the family. In the speech Mr Cameron also announced increased budget for relationship counselling and expanding programmes to help families struggling with unemployment and debt.
