Skylark Galleries was a long-standing creative hub at Gabriel’s Wharf, celebrating the talent of independent artists and making contemporary art accessible to all.
Home to a vibrant collective of artists, the gallery showcased an ever-changing collection of original paintings, fine art prints, ceramics, sculpture, textiles and collage. Each piece was created with skill, imagination and individuality, giving visitors the chance to discover something truly one of a kind.
Since 1993 Skylark Galleries played an important role in the creative life of the Wharf, connecting artists with collectors, art lovers and curious passers-by. Its welcoming space offered an opportunity to explore original artwork in a relaxed setting and helped support a thriving community of independent makers.
Now, as an exciting new chapter begins, the gallery is moving to Unit 1.07, 1st Floor, Riverside Walkway, Oxo Tower Wharf – just a few minutes along the Southbank. This move marks an important milestone in it's continuing development, providing an opportunity to create a fresh and dynamic space, while maintaining the values and relationships that have shaped the gallery's success.
Skylark looks forward to welcoming you this November - opening information and launch date to follow. In the meantime visitors can continue to follow Skylark Galleries online by purchasing artworks via their website or following them on Instagram.
