South London is not a ****hole is a solo exhibition of 50 paintings by Shauna Fox, a 25-year-old artist living and working in South London.
This exhibition is a celebration of South London’s multi-cultured magnificence, a bubbling stew of Anglo, Afro-Caribbean, Irish and Asian influence all melded together, cross-pollinating over 60 years and now exploding into a sunburst of creative innovation in art and music.
Shauna paints South London street life, its poetic vibrancy and beauty, community cohesion and spirit. Multi-culturalism works in South London and multi-culturalism now makes South London work.
