One of the original tenants of Oxo Tower Wharf in 1996, Alan Vallis has built a distinctive jewellery practice rooted in confidence, creativity, and craft. His contemporary pieces are shaped by a rich spectrum of influences, resulting in work that feels both globally informed and unmistakably personal.
Alan frequently works in close collaboration with clients, creating commissioned pieces that reflect individual vision and character. His current Pevsner ring series marks a bold shift in design approach, with a clear and uncompromising focus: to present large specimen stones at their most striking and expressive.
His stacking rings draw on the vibrant decorative languages of the Middle East - layered with pattern, texture, and colour. Evolving over many years, these pieces embody both continuity and transformation. What sets them apart is their openness to possibility: each combination is uniquely configured, shaped by the client’s preferences and Alan’s inventive response.
