Our much-loved festive event is back for 2025! Join us on the South Bank to celebrate the season together.
Meet us under the bandstand for live music featuring Christmas favourites. The much-loved jazz band Doolally Tap bring their infectious energy to the Wharf once again, performing jazz standards then coming together with the Donoghue Quartet to perform some of the season's best-loved carols. Warm up your vocal cords and join them in a singalong under the twinkling bandstand lights. The Marcus Penrose Quartet then gets the afternoon party started with popular festive hits, whilst our DJ spins feel-good holiday tunes.
Warm up with hot chocolate, mulled wine or hot cider, and soak up the seasonal atmosphere. Bring friends, family, and good cheer — all are welcome. No need to sign up, just drop in on the day!

For children
We’ll be running a free creative activity for children. Head to the bandstand to find our activity table where you can pick up the materials you need to create a festive card for a loved one.

- Mulled wine, mulled cider + non-alcoholic mulled apple - £5 a cup (provided by Ascension cider, supporting apple growers in Kent and Sussex using apples rejected by the supermarkets because of their unsuitable size and shape)

There are public toilets on site, including a wheelchair accessible toilet.

- This event is completely free, no tickets are required.
- Line-up may be subject to change.
- There will be limited shade or rain cover so please dress appropriately for the weather on the day.
- You are not permitted to bring alcoholic drinks with you, any found will be confiscated. Food and drinks can be purchased from the many vendors at the Wharf.
- Filming and photography will be taking place at this event.
