Down's Syndrome Association present:
The GlaxoSmithKline Shifting Perspectives 2012

Down's Syndrome Association Exhibition Shifting Perspectives | gallery@oxo | South Bank

A unique photographic exhibition created to challenge commonly-held misconceptions about people with Down’s syndrome by presenting modern, contemporary images.

Shifting Perspectives returns to the gallery@oxo for the eighth year running as part of the Down’s Syndrome Association awareness week and with the continuing support of GlaxoSmithKline.

This photographic exhibition brings together a collective of professional photographers, all of whom have a personal connection to Down’s syndrome. Each photographer brings their individual style but the exhibition is held together by presenting the viewer with strong, contemporary and up-to-date images of people with Down’s syndrome.

This year’s exhibition will feature work by Richard Bailey, Fiona Yaron-Field, Emer Gillespie, Eva Snoijink and David McCormack.

Elements of this exhibition will focus on the Down’s syndrome Awareness Week theme of employment opportunities for people with Down’s syndrome. To learn more visit the gallery to view the images and pick up a leaflet about the new programme –WorkFit, supporting workplace success for people with Down’s syndrome.
