On the 25th of May 2024, 1-4pm, London’s South Bank will transform again into a hub of scientific learning and discussion, as some of London’s leading scientists take to their soapboxes to showcase their research to the general public.

Look out for fun props, hands-on experiments for all ages, and learn about topics ranging from the Large Hadron Collider to the most endangered animals on the planet.

Soapbox Science is a novel public outreach platform for promoting women and non-binary scientists and the science they do. Their events transform public areas into an arena for learning and debate. Soapbox Science started on London’s South Bank in 2011 and has since been established in more than 50 cities around the world.
