Alan Vallis designs and makes contemporary jewellery inspired by many diverse influences. A recurring marine theme reflects Alan’s love of diving, and his stacking rings are inspired by travels to the Middle East with glorious decorative patterns, textures and colours. North African tribal jewellery influenced his symbol necklaces that incorporate bold abstract forms. Alan often works to commission and his current Pevsner ring series features settings for large, beautiful stones, such as the mottle turquoise stone pictured left.
