Sotis Filippides produces individually handmade ceramics, each pot, bowl and vase thrown by hand and fired in a kiln. Following the success of his studio The Wheel in Gabriel's Wharf, Sotis now brings his work to a brand new studio in Oxo Tower Wharf.

The rough, textured surfaces are created by using fine textured clay from Stoke-on-Trent and the natural earthy hues by use of copper and iron oxide glazes.

Sotis' works are often inspired by organic forms, from trees, dry leaves and roots to black volcanic rock.
