Working in partnership

Coin Street Community Builders works in partnership with a wide range of organisations, only some of which are listed below.

As well as organisations focussing on South Bank and Bankside, we are proud to have been a founder member of the Development Trust Association which brings together some 450 neighbourhood trusts from around the country. We also work with the Social Enterprise Coalition and Social Enterprise London to promote and support social enterprise generally.

The Coin Street site straddles the boundary between the London Borough of Lambeth and the London Borough of Southwark and we work with both councils on matters such as housing, support for families and children, and learning & enterprise support. We work with the Mayor of London and his agencies, particularly the London Development Agency, on wider London issues as well as with government departments such as the Cabinet Office and the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

We have on-going relationshops with the City of London School for Boys, Colombo Street community & sports centre, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, the Nationwide Building Society, SE1 United, and The Thames Festival Trust as well as of course - Coin Street Secondary Housing Co-operative, the four Coin Street primary housing co-operatives and Coin Street Centre Trust.
