Based in the Coin Street neighbourhood centre, minutes from Waterloo station and at the heart of a thriving local community, our 80-place day nursery and specialist baby care unit provides high quality, affordable childcare and education for children from 3 months to 5 years. The nursery’s qualified childcare team has an informed educational philosophy that ensures every child develops at their own pace.

Exciting activities are planned to extend each child's learning and development, supporting the natural disposition of each child to explore the world in a safe and challenging way, their achievements celebrated in individual portfolios.

Parents as partners

We develop strong, creative partnerships with parents so that we can support and enhance your role as the child’s main educator. We offer sensitive support during the settling-in process, and regular ongoing contact through a key nursery worker.

Enabling environments

A safe outside play area allows children to explore and enjoy their environment, while our Family Room offers privacy for parents and interactive sensory equipment. Children are also taken on educational visits to places of interest.

Healthy eating

Fresh, healthy meals are prepared daily for the children by our cook in the on-site kitchen.

Opening times

8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Closed 29 & 30 April, 28 June, 25 September, 12 & 13 December as well as between Christmas and New Year's Day. 

Admissions and costs

Admissions are judged on a number of criteria, and prices vary according to age of child and number of days attending - download rates information below. There are a number of schemes to assist with costs; we are happy to provide advice and assistance to guide you through all of these schemes – please call us on 0207 021 1600.

To apply for a place you will need to complete a registration form, available from the senior office administrator. Interested parents can register before their child is born if they wish. When you register you will be given an indication of how long you might have to wait for a place.

You are also most welcome to visit the nursery to see it in action; we hold regular viewings on the last Friday of every month.
