We can help you to find appropriate training and business support. We also provide one-to-one advice and guidance on a wide range of issues including support with CVs, application forms, interviews, benefits, tax credits and childcare support.

Confidence building & creative communication

With the National Theatre: Improve your communication skills and gain the confidence to get more involved in your community, apply for jobs or just for yourself!

Friday 17 April, 9.30am - 12.30pm

Friday 18 May, 9.30am - 2pm
This session includes advice from working parents about how they cope with the work-life balance.

Friday 1 June, 9.30am - 12pm
This session includes a customer service skills workshop and the opportunity to gain work experience in the National Theatre. 

Childcare Level 1 & Adult literacy level 1 training

Starting April 2012. In partnership with Morley College.
A free introduction to working in the childcare sector. With this qualification you will be able to work as a nursery assistant, continue on to complete your Level 2 or both. Contact Harjinder immediately for an assessment to join this course.

Accredited Numeracy Training

Will be starting from Wednesday 1st February 2012 until July 2012, Wednesday mornings only. The expectation is to achieve either Entry Level 3 and/or Level 1. Contact Harjinder to see if places are available. Includes free crèche.

Update your computer skills

IT training course focusing on the basic skills needed to apply for jobs and to work in an office. Includes MS Word, MS Excel, using the internet and file management. Laptops provided.
