The Colombo Street Community and Sports Centre is a social enterprise and charity. The centre provides high quality health, recreation and leisure facilities at an affordable price to reisdents and employees in the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.
The Centre has a 300 sq. ft gymnasium containg 18 cardio-vascular mashines including treadmills, steppers, cross trainers, bikes and rowing machines, as well as a comprehensive range of free weights and strength equipment.
The adjacent sports hall holds a number of classes, rainging from Circuits to Legs, Bums and Tums. It can also be used for badminton (3 courts) or basketball, volleyball or 5-a-side football. In addition, there is a self contained Yoga/Pilates studio in a quieter area of the club.
Outdoor facilities include two floodlit multi-use sports pitches, which can be hired for tennis, basketball, netball and volleyball, as well as two state-of-the-art floodlit synthetic turf 7-a-side football pitches. All of these facilities are available to hire on an hourly basis, with special discounts for schools and community organisations.
